Thanks To Meyer Sound For Tuning our Room!

As many of you know, the good folks at Meyer Sound Labs, gratiously provided us with an unbelievable PA system for a price within our means.

However their generosity does not end there. Last week they sent one of their best technicians, Mike Maxon, to tune and program the room. After a barage of pink noise and phase correction our rig is now customized for the Starry Plough and is living up to its full potential. Come on by and catch a show to see (and hear) why we are now one of the best sounding rooms out there.

For those of you who have noticed that our walls have been a bit naked over the past year, we have some excellent news! We have put all of the posters and flags back up.

Add on the all new chairs and we are almost finished with our renovations. Check out our Events Calendar for your next opportunity to come and get a taste of Berkeley history, a fine brew and shake your booty at the New Old Starry Plough!

Welcome to the new Starry Plough Website. Exciting changes have been happening at The Plough over the last year, and we cordially invite you to come see the NEW OLD Starry Plough!

We have been renovating the interior and refinishing all of the wood and furniture. For all you old schoolers, not to fear, the posters, flags and all the other great memorabilia that you came to know and love is on its way back as well.

Many thanks also to the folks at Meyer Sound Labs who have graciously provided us with a BRAND NEW TOP OF THE LINE SOUND SYSTEM for a price humbly within our means!

Gone are the days of poor sound for the bands and crowds- The Starry Plough is now one of the best sounding rooms in the Bay Area. Keep an eye out for some top notch performers gracing our stage in the next few months.

Come in and see how we have transformed our venue without sacrificing our heart or hearth. Welcome back, friends!
